Having bought a new pc from dell 2 weeks ago i have had nothing but hassle - vista product key claimed not genuine. I've spent every night on the phone to India call centre and have only after 2 weeks managed to get them to agree to refund the computer and take it away as not fit for use. I'm curious if anyone else has had a similar problem?

SORT OF - WHEN I ORDERED MY COMPUTER SYSTEM I ASKED FOR ONE WHERE I'D BE ABLE TO PLAY AND COPY CD'S AND ALSO PLAY AND COPY DVD'S HOWEVER WHEN THE SYSTEM CAME IT WAS A LITTLE WHILE LATER WHEN I DISCOVERED THAT THEY'D SENT ME A SYSTEM WITH ONLY A CD RW - I'VE WRITTEN TO THEM EMAILED THEM TELEPHONED THEM AND STILL NOTHING. THIS IS GOING ON FOR THREE YEARS NOW (I THINK!) AND STILL I'VE NOT RECEIVED AN ANSWER AS TO WHY I DIDN'T RECEIVE WHAT I ASKED FOR, AT FIRST THEY SAID I'D LEFT IT TOO LONG BEFORE REPORTING THEIR MISTAKE BUT CONSIDERING I STARTED PHONING THE GUY I ORDERED IT WITH PRACTICALLY STRAIGHT AWAY BUT APPARENTLY HE DOESN'T WORK THERE ANYMORE! I DON'T KNOW WHAT ELSE I CAN DO NOW TO BE HONEST WITH YOU.

I just had a problem with tech support...they leave you on hold for such a long time...and then you get someone with a very thick accent that you can't understand !
