I'm asking because this man thinks it's not right for a man and woman sleep in the same bed together and he's got me baffled. He's not gay. He just has this stupid belief, yet has no valid explanation for it. Is giving me reason to be suspicious of him. I wanted to see what others thought of the situation. We've been together for 9 months and we've slept together at one point. He's not married or anything and I'm not either. He tells me I'm bothering him by asking to sleep with him again and I tell him that doesn't make sense. I'm trying to get him to understand that he makes me feel like there's something wrong with me when I know there isn't. We're both attractive people and he's much older than myself (he doesn't look it though). Anyway, just wanted to get some feedback from other men and women on this topic.

His beliefs are based on the socialization that he has experienced in the way he was raised, his religious indoctrination and possibly the influence of other people. He just feels it is wrong. I would ask if you have been together for 9 months, what the emotional attachment is. Do you love him or are you in love with him? He may be afraid of the intimacy. A lot of men are. I don't see anything wrong with consenting adults sleeping in the same bed together--love is not required (although it is desirable).

there is no data he ever slept interior a similar mattress. this is been written that he become considered on a mattress with the youngster Jordan, yet that doesn't in any respect advise there become any napping or sexual acts being performed. He become likely merely studying him a ******* e book. those allegations and the recognition he were given from it were what ruined him. because he become so cute and merely wanted to proceed being how he become obviously (affectionate in the route of toddlers, very youthful and extremely innocuous) even though it become became into something filthy via the indisputable fact that is what receives people going. you may merely tell from how unhappy he ended up contained in the years operating as a lot as his demise. it is also behind each music. also this isn't all merely biased because i'm a fan. i have not in any respect been that into him. I merely study round plenty.

maybe he just doesn't like sharing a bed some people can't stand sleeping with others cause of snoring, stealing the covers, feeling uncomfortable not enough space etc...also have you seen every inch of his body?..he might be hiding something that he thinks you might get to see if you sleep in the bed with him..but as for it being you the only thing that comes to mind is do you snore? talk in your sleep? do anything that would be considered annoying while you sleep?

I will not tell you what my opinion is because I am just another human being. However, God says that it is not what He wants for the both of you.

When you have sex without the benefit and commitment of marriage, there are the strong possibilities of getting hurt, as you are now, numerous diseases, and disrespect.

If a man really loves and respects you. He wants you to be his and his only forever. Please wait until you find someone who really loves you. Then make a commitment and do it right. Peace

Hmmm? maybe he's really gay or maybe he's married and you just don't know it, ofcourse there's nothing wrong with wanting to sleep with him and I take it not only sleep right?, maybe he doesn't want to be intimate with you again, I don't think its you either, maybe he's just confuse about he's sexuality, that remainds me of Will & Grace, don't insist on it, if he really cares for you he will be honest, be his friend, maybe thats all that he really wants from you, or has he propossed?, be consious and sit down to talk to him about how you feel, be honest with him and that will probably promt him to do the same. " If something smells fishi it probably is". Good luck

I don't see anything wrong with two adults sleeping together. I don't understand why he won't tell you his reasons for not wanting to. It sounds like he has intimacy issues, and if you are looking for an intimate relationship you may have to look elsewhere.

I guess it depends on what you're doing besides sleeping.
And how much older is he?
I know it may be unheard by today's standards. But just maybe, he may actually have something called a conscience. ;)
