I asked earlier but can wanted to try to get more responses! Has anyone else gotten stomach aches quite a bit from the nausea they have during early pregnancy? I keep getting nausea that makes my tummy ache and then I feel like barfing. Or sometimes I will get a stomach ache that will cause nausea. For the past couple days I have had a constant stomach ache, it will go away for maybe half an hour or and hour or 2 then it comes back again and it's really starting to get annoying! Anyone else get this? I will mention this to my doctor at my next visit but I would like to know if anyone had this also! Oh and may I add that they are actual stomach aches not cramps! Thank you!!

Terrible huh?! I was there just a couple of weeks ago. I was bad. I had to visit the ER becuase I was so dehydrated and malnourished. My doc gave me Phenygran to calm my stomach. Now I can eat (but I choose wisely becuase certain foods still make me feel sick) and I don't have the constant stomach ache that goes away for an hour a day. Eat bland things and eat snacks every two hours INSTEAD of meals. Try sipping on gingerale, apple juice, gatorade, chocolate milk or water constantly through out the day if you have trouble with fluids. Food rich in B vitamins keeps your stomach calm as well. I found the canteloupe was good as well as mashed potatoes. If I get hungry, even though I'm on these pills, its over with! I'm dry heaving over the toilet. If I don't take them I go back to getting sick and if I take them late at night I dry heave in the morning. If you have these constant stomach aches and you are unable to properly nourishing your body and you start getting really pale, start getting cracked lips, can't function and can't hold food down then I would see about going to the doc. When I did they replenished my body w/ an IV and gave me the Phenyran.

Luck!

Just about every woman goes through this. You need to relax. Those books tell you to eat right during pregnancy for your own health, not the baby's. Doctors and scientists have done studies which have proven that the nutritional intake of pregnant women in industrialized countries DOES NOT effect the health or final weight of the baby. A fetus will suck everything it needs from your body whether you eat it or not. Even so much as to leech the calcium from your teeth if it cant get it elsewhere. Even things like folic acid arent imporant after the first few weeks of pregnancy, you need it BEFORE you know youre pregnant so the brand new ovum and later the brand new fetus can develop the basic systems correctly. As long as you're taking your prenantal, and not losing weight past the first trimester, you're fine. Your health before pregnancy is what counts to the baby, during pregnancy the main concern is keeping enough nutrients in you, so that your body can feed the baby (which it will do regardless) and have enough left over for your functions and repairs. Throw your giude book away and eat whatever you can get into your body at this stage. Pick it back up once your appitite returns. Its really helpful at this stage to have people bring you a meal ready to eat, and you eat as much as you can THE SECOND it comes through the door. And then burry it in a plastic bag in the trash. This way you dont smell it, or see it, or have to cook it. Take a b6 vitamin 25ml three times a day, it reeeeeally helps. Ask your doctor about it, iam suprised he/she hasnt told you to take it already.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

You might actually be sick, take your temp.
Relax, I am 8 weeks along and have had them too, with other symptoms like a viral bug, your body is still trying to get used to the baby. Just calm down and stop worrying, tell your Dr. on Tuesday whats been going on and they will look into it, but don't get yourself worked up over it, it will make you feel worse. I know it is annoying and that it sucks to feel sick, but it will pass.
Just tell your doctor on Tuesday. If it gets worse go to the ER, they will take you no matter what the illness. Sometimes there are other things going on other than pregnancy.
Good luck.

Every woman gets a different form of morning sickness, this could be yours. I would say by about 3-4 months it should be gone and is completely normal!

Try and snack through out the day and not eat large meals. Also I would try and not eat acidic things because I think they make it a little worse. (Like Orange Juice) Hope this helps!!
