My favorite and tied for top is Keith Moon of the Who.
Tied with Keith and the most amazing musical drummer alive is Neil Peart of Rush.

Hi Andrew, The best drummer of my time and music era was gene krupa that man could out drum anyone,and to this day no one could even come close to gene krupa!!!He was one cool dude. Rubberstampr.

Neal Pert of Rush. Bonham was fast, but he didn't have the musical innovation of Pert.
