ok i know a boy in her class... and he knows wich girls r bi or straight... and i asked him if the girl i like is bi.. (cuz im a bi girl) and he said no... but i think he likes her... he told me sum of the girls who were bi... one of them is in my gym class lol... but anywayz... i think the girl i like is bi and he is just saying she isnt cuz he likes her... cuz she acts pretty bi around me... cuz yesterday at school me the girl i like and her best friend and my bestfriend were walking some where and her and her best friend always walk together and me and mine always walk together too... but my best friend was a little further and so i was kinda back with the girl i like and her bestfriend and her best friend kinda speeded up and went up with the rest of the people... so it was just me and the girl i like... and i was waiting for her to catch up with her bestfriend but she just stayed near me... and on the bus she was looking at me... dose she sound bi to you? thanx!

There is no way to know for sure if a girl is gay, bi, or straight by only judging her actions. This is because both gay and straight orientations indicate a preference for their the same or the opposite sex, while bi is a gray area that indicates a low or nonexistant gender preference. Both rely not only on sexual activities, but emotional connections. That said, I think the boy is wrong. You can't just judge someone as easily as he did. I also think you are overinterpreting her action, since she might just be trying to be friends (or she didn't feel like walking fast.) If you are just dying to know what she is, talk to her. Casually bring up a gay-related subject (like gay marriage) and see what she says. Tell her, for example, that you're in support of this issue. If she knows you are for gay rights, she might open up and tell you what she is.

There's really no such thing as "acting bi" and also, the you thinking she's bi thing could be wishful thinking... like there's this guy right? and I fond out he was bi but I always thought he acted like he liked me, so I asked him out one day but he just said "not interested". There's a definate possibility that she does given everything you said, but truth be told, there's no gauruntees in life. Sorry and hope that helps a little...
