Your plan makes no sense, if you work in the US you MUST pay taxes whether you are a citizen or not. If you want to pay taxes in the Bahamas go there and find work and pay into their tax system. The web site you posted specifically says renouncing citizenship will not affect your tax obligations.

In addition, why not just donate your money to a charity, if you think paying taxes to the corrupt Bahamian govt is some how going to help the less fortunate you are very very mistaken.

If you do not live in the United States, you do not have to pay tax's in the United States.

Now if you want to say you are a Bahamas citizen living and working in America, then you would need a green card and a work permit to prove it. Plus a Bahamas passport.

well, if you don't live here and don't plan on coming back, its irrelevant. Why would you continue to live here and not expect to pay taxes? I mean, you obviously think its better in the Bahamas, so don't let the door hit you in the butt on the way out! Its amazing that while people from around the world die to get to the US, you are so misguided, for whatever reason, you would give up something so precious as US citizenship.
