Nope there's no bird and depends if it's an actual feather or down. Usually they pluck the birds for the feathers to stuff inside a pillow or collect the down from nests. So basically you're laying on either a dead bird's feathers or nest feathers.

Most pillows are stuffed with feathers so there is no bird hiding in your pillow

LOL...Maybe the goose down comforter told the bird in your pillow that you like goose not bird and they had a fight in switch a feather broke lose...
