My favorite is the Gloxinnia. It is like an African violet on steroids. It can be grown outdoors in warm zones, but here in MI you must house it. I've tried to propagate them in the summer, but every squirrel for 10 miles comes over to snack on them. This year I'm trying indoors and working on squirrel proof cages.
