I liked Cinderella as a child and my favorite story is Great Expectations.

Favourite childhood tale is the fable of The Man, The Boy, and The Donkey, by Aesop. It's not as dirty as it sounds.
A old man and a young boy are walking along a road, with their donkey following behing them. Some people start laughing at them, wondering why they would walk when they have a donkey to ride. So they both get on the donkey and people start complaining that it's unfair on the donkey, their combined weight is too heavy. So the boy gets off and they proceed. Soon somebody criticizes the man for making the poor little boy walk, so they change places. Next thing, somebody admonishes the boy for making the frail old man walk. The story finishes with the two of them trying to carry the donkey. Naturally, everybody laughs at them. The moral to the story is that if you try to please everybody, you won't please anybody.
My favourite classic is Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte. This is a magnificent novel that combines romantic and gothic elements. I can identify with both stories.

I loved Alice in Wonderland....Charlotes Web , and The Chronicles of Narnia series.

Cinderella, Snow White and Goldilocks. My dad told me a lot of other ones on the top of his head that I loved also.

"clip clop" and "little black, a pony". my fave classic stories are "misty of chincoteague" and "black beauty". black beauty is so sad though.
