Yes. You need to sit down with your Mom when things are cooled off and when nothing is happening and discuss how she makes you feel when she does that. It may be that there are other severe problems going on in her life and when you are annoying her, it is like the last straw and she just reacts. I'm sure she feels guilty about it. The two of you need to discuss what steps each of you can do to be more loving towards each other. Whatever the case, if it continues, you should try reaching out to a school counselor or a trusted family friend about the situation. Perhaps you need to look into why you are "being bad" and "annoying" her. Is there something that you can do to correct your behavior? Hang in there. And try talking to your Mom :)

THERE IS NO OTHER WAY OF PUTTING IT. BUT YES THAT IS PHYSICAL ABUSE. MAKE SURE YOU TALK TO SOME ONE ABOUT IT.
NO MATTER HOW ANNOYING A KID MAKES THE MOTHER, A MOTHER SHOULD NEVER LOOSE CONTROL BY PULLING AND OR RIPPING THE HAIR OUT OF THE KID.

Yes, so leave and go to a foster home. If you don't like the way your being treated--leave. Because 10:1 she doesn't like the fact your breaking all her rules---and the only way she can deal with you is threw abuse (caused by her limited ability to reason--and your ability to listen---------you both need help).

You know when you deserve to have your hair ripped out. It is wrong for parents to hit their children. But sometimes children ask for it. Ask yourself the question you have asked in this forum. You will find that you know the answer.

it absolutely is... I mean if she spanked you once because you did something wrong, that's different. her behavior however is physical abuse and it is unacceptable. it should be reported.
