I have had water sitting in a small tank for about 4 days now, and just bought an Aquaview 1 gallon tank today, and transferred the water into it. Would it be safe to put my f. betta (currently in a 10g) into this tank already? Btw, it has filtration(and gravel and a fake plant). And the heat is working its way up, about 75 degrees now.

Yes, it wil probably be fine for you to put her in that tank. See, Betas have a tendancy to keep in small territories in the wild, sometimes they live in puddles in teh rainforest, so size is no matter at all. They actually prefer the smaller area. The heat is not absolutly necesarry, but im sure she will be glad you thought of that, because they live in tropical climates. She might seem a little jittery in the smaller tank, wondering where all the dangerous open space went to, but she'll gete used to it. The plant is a good idea too. She'll probably spend a lot of time hiding in it, protecting herself from imaginary dangers.

If youre still not sure its safe to put her in the tank, there are certain chemicals that u can buy that make the water undoubtedly safe for her, but since the water stood for a few days, they souldnt be needed.

the reason that your betta breeding did not flow truly as you planned is because you're ignorant about the concern, and likely did not do it suitable. at the starting up, betta's can't and could no longer be kept in bowls - no fish could. Bowls are absolute deathtraps for fish, you've had your betta in there for a year, yet even as kept suitable, betta's can stay for about 5 to eight years. If yours maintains to stay contained in the bowl, she'll likely stay yet another six months to a year, once you're fortunate. Your 36g tank is rather overstocked. Tetras and zebra danios favor to be kept in colleges of 5 to 6. do no longer save education fish on my own or in pairs - it truly is how they develop into very lower than pressure out. Angelfish should not be kept with danios or tetras for 2 causes: a) the angelfish could, and likely will eat them, and b) tetras could properly be rather nippy. A 36g tank is largely large sufficient on your pair of angelfish or a school of bleeding heart tetras, a school of zebra danios and a dwarf gourami. Silver money require more suitable tanks, additionally they do more suitable positive even as kept in additional suitable communities. Roseline sharks are also rather nippy and aggressive, your different fish could wade through. i do not propose something smaller than a 55g for one unmarried roseline shark. you are able to attempt to save your lady betta along with your dwarf gourami and a school of BH tetras and zebra danios, yet this does no longer continuously artwork. fantastically once you've a male gourami, because they are frequently rather aggressive. attempt it, once you come back the different fish and up the variety of tetras and zebra danios, and then save an eye fixed on your fish to ensure that there is no longer a lot aggression occurring.

A betta CAN live in those little cups you buy them in for a week or so as long as you change the water. n other words it don't matter the size of thier tank as long as they can swim around. She may not be AS happy in the smaller tank, but it won't hurt her. The water is at a perfect temp so go for it!

Well yes it is safe. Why are you moving her to a smaller tank though? My female betta is a very active fish, I can't see keeping her in a 1g tank.

You should first get some small fishes to kind of dirty up the tank with their waste, so the water isn't so clean. If the water is to clean it will go into shock and die.
