they did marry but aaliyah was too young so it was never thought of being married so they dated and were technacillay married

They did marry, but it was not a legal marriage since Aaliayah lied about her age. (She was 15, but said she was 18).

thet were married, but alliyah was 14 at the time, which caused alot of problems, so they had to divorce.
