There are some good guys out there. But here is why so many of them come in last. Not all good guys do this, but I've known a lot who either called themselves this or who were viewed that way did:
* many of them are snobs who look down on some women
* some are clingy and possessive
* some just don't stand up for themselves
* some are wimpy and let women think for them
* some just don't make any moves on a woman!
If none of the forementioned apply, then it's probably because women want to sow their wild oats before settling down.

Good guys don't come in last, it just takes us longer to get to the winning post!
It's a case of the tortoise and the hare (you remember the story?) well we're "tortoises" but just the same as the story, although we may lose battles along the way, we usually come out on top ;-)
