Yeah, I agree, Wikipedia is a good source, but if you want to be really creative.... you could say that back in the day a guy by the name of Don Portugal wandered down through the Iberian Peninsula from Andorra until he reached the ocean and decided to establish a country along the coast (b/c who doesn't like beachfront property?). He, strangely enough, named it "Portugal," after himself. Now as far as the Nationlist movement, you are on your own, but you can see how you can have fun with it.
