i had the same problem and this is what i done to get rid of it .....
1) run a on line pc scan here

2) down load ad awarese here and run a scan...

3)get spy bot search and destroy and run a scan..

4) reboot
but before you do any of this shut off your system restore other wise it will just keep coming back,
you might have to go through the whole process a couple times maybe but belive me it works ..my computer was so messed up i was ready to cry. i tried about everything and this was the only thing that worked....good luck! by the way, like i said i had the same problem and it had nothing to do with limewire it was caused by spydawn

Don't you know that Companies/Corporations will put virused versions of their software on LimeWire, just to get rid of Program-pirates? You are, after all STEALING...

You need to completely clean your system. If you dont know what your doing take it to a computer store ie Data Doctors, Geek squad and they can take care of it the correct way. And in the future stay off P2P connections

First get rid of Limewire(I experienced the same thing with them)and dont ever install it again! I also had to back up all my data and re-install, re-format my operating system. and GET SOME VIRUS PRETECTION. This is what you must do to solve the problem.
