which countries is it ilegal to change an imei in? also can an imei even be changed on a w800 i have a friend who says you can flash the handset change the imei and also update the settings so it has the w810 settings is this true? and dont worry im not thinking of changing the imei my self before every one starts getting up them self etc

hiya as far as i know its illegal in any country to do it as it can make it difficult to track if being used for illegal things/or if it has been stolen etc, but i do know of people that have had their w800i's updated to w810i settings. so it definitely is possible.

As far as I know, it's illegal to change the IMEI no matter what country you are in.
