we called the police not too long ago for something they did but the cops went in their favor and said if this happened again, they would get the landlord to evict both of us. then they said not to call them on the neighbors under any circumstance ever again. i'm getting sick of having neighbors get away with anything. they have done almost anything you can possibly think about and them having loud music with loud bass on 24 hours a day all year around is getting very annoying because i get migraines all the time for this. not to mention it is annoying with migraines. i need some advice before i go crazy. plz help????

Typical of the police. They are nothing more than thugs themselves. I see an "accident" in your neighbors' future.

Can you move? It seems to me that these people are hostile to you and the police siding with them may have given them more boldness.

If you can't move try talking to them (although with the police business in the past they may not want to listen to you); and tell them you want to be neighborly and how can you work together to make this happen.

If that doesn't work talk to the landlord

If the situation doesn't improve hire a lawyer (if you can afford one) and let them figure out the law and how best you can resolve the situation.

If none of the above won't work for you then all I can suggest is that you get some really good earplugs like those guys who work with jackhammers and get some stronger migraine meds.

I am sorry about this. Some people can really be a pain. I really do hope your situation improves.

Go to the magistrate and ask if your community has laws against noise and ask where you can get information on the laws of your community. Tell them the police will not do anything. They will not be allowed to answer your legal questions but they should be able to tell you where you can get information.
