I wasnt sure where to ask this but here I go...How should I do my hair and makeup for a 50's sock hop?

Each year my school has a sockhop...I am wearing a blue poodle skirt a deep v lack shirt with a blue tank top underneath it so wear the shirt v's the blue shows...I will also be wearing black flats..Anyways how do you do your hair and makeup back in the 50's??

One other thing can I fit my polka dot headband in anyway??

hair:
put it in a ponytail
and curl it!
add a ribbon

makeup:
soft pinks
for eyes and lips
don't forget the mascara

and for extra fun:
tie a blue ribbon around your neck

Wear your hair in a high pony with a scarf wrapped around it. Make-up should be light but with a bright lipstick.

either do your hair in a hair band or put it up with a red polka dotted headband/wrap!!!totaly50s and makup bright red lipstick and foundatin nothing else oh and powder!

I'd say either high ponytail or bun and light blush and lipstick and hold back on all the eyeliners and lip liners
