It's easier for Republicans to buy a cheap magnet and stick it on the back of your car than it is to actually support the troops by making sure that they have the equipment and armor they need. It's easier to have this tacky yellow magnet than to make sure that those who are hurt mentally or physically during their service are taken care of - both while they are in the services and afterwards.

I am a independent that is leaning towards The republicans because of all the venom I see here by Democrats. I don't care which party you belong to , You should support our troops.I did not see Clinton visiting the hospital after Somalia Or Bosnia. I DO remember him being quoted as saying he "loathed the military" during Vietnam.HE dodged the draft by going to school in England & going all over Europe protesting the war, then come home & told the national Guard to stuff it.Atleast GW joined the airforce & yes he was in no danger of going to war , but at least he servered.I have both DEmocrat & republican friends in both the VFW & American Legion who support the troops. So where do you get off saying only REpublicans support the troops.

How come democrat don't support the troops?
Showing that you care by placing a magnet on your car is just one of many ways to show you support them but I have not seen that many democrat showing any support what so ever.

LOVED the youtube clip you added!
Will def. pass that one around!
Repugs are cheap and to only spend
$1.93 for a yellow ribbon is the most
they'll spend to "support" the troops.
That's why the Walter Reed Hospital
is not really shocking due to the Repugs
are so cheap in their support of anything
but their precious tax cuts...

I don't know why they think that. And as far as supporting the troops, see below link. It seems they don't support them at all.

Thats strange, I know 3 Democrats who have a bunch of them on their vehicles. And it was actually a Republican who reported the disgrace of Walter Reed Hosp.
to the Congress who is made up of both parties who threw it out. However this disgrace has been going on since the 70's so I'd say theres a few more than just Republicans to blame.

How can you say that Republicans don't support the troops, when Democrats are trying to cut war funding?

You don't know what the hell you're talking.
1-The yellow magnets remind the families that people are thinking about them
2-Making generalizations about anyone is intellectually lazy.
P.S. I'm an Air Force combat veteran
