I'm from England and English people don't actually talk like that. Whenever English actors appear on American television they are told to exagerate their accent because its how Americans expect them to speak.

If you mean Dougray Scott then you`re wrong on both counts - not only is he not "english sounding" he`s playing an Englishman (he`s actually Scottish) he`s not "crap" he`s a actually a good actor - he just gets offered crap parts in American films and TV progs (MI2 for one piece of crap that he was in).

Dougray Scott and is originally from Glenrothes, Fife in Scotland.
His fans were not too pleased when he used that awful English accent in 'Desperate Housewives' but it was what the director wanted.
I think they should have allowed him to use his Scottish accent but then again not all Americans can our understand Scottish accent.

Dougray Scott is not a crap actor. He is also Scottish. I loved him in Ever After with Drew Barrymore! He is yummy!
