I have known my best friend for nearly 7 years, but we've only been friends for almost 1 and a half. We talk to each other once every two months and we only talk for 30 minutes each time. What should I do?

Plan something for just the 2 of you, either a day together doing girl stuff, or make an effort to commuincate more, via email, or something. When my best friend moved away from me, I would send her a card every couple of weeks, just to let her know I was thinking of her. Sadly, its been 5 years since I've seen her, and we hardly talk... but, it doesn't have to be that way with you guys... good luck!

The interaction with your bf the way I see it is NOT very encouraging to forming a strong bond . To talk for 30 minutes with someone every 2 months is not exactly something to look forward to . What do you do the rest of the time . There is no dialog, so no ideas are transferred which means you are at a standstill . Give it up and find a person closer that you can exchange some ideas with on a steady basis .

Plan on having a sleep over or going to the mall over the weekend or call eachother more. Then give the friendship time to grow.
