well in some cases the past is dead for someone people but for others it is still alive

not quite yet but it is slowly dying.....
there are a lot of things in the past that I still look back on now because I know to do things differently now & to not make the same mistakes again....

I do not want the past to repeat itself again...but I'm not ready for it to "die" just now

yes... because past is past,,,you can never go back and re-create that one particular second. Sure, you can imitate it...but it still will not be the same.

one has to learn to put things from the past aside, but they often "follow" you all the same because they usually influenced you in many ways...
