Here's the rides I enjoyed the most:
Twister http://www.universalorlando.com/usf_attr_twister.html
Earthquake! http://www.universalorlando.com/usf_attr_earthquake.html
Jaws http://www.universalorlando.com/usf_attr_jaws.html
If you're going to Islands of Adventure, then try:
The Amazing Adventures of Spider Man http://www.universalorlando.com/ioa_attr_spiderman.html
Incredible Hulk Coaster http://www.universalorlando.com/ioa_attr_hulk.html
Dueling Dragons http://www.universalorlando.com/ioa_attr_dd.html
Keep in mind that Universal isn't really that big on rides. It has more of simulation type attractions and shows. (Which is what I love about amusement parks anyways...) When I went I was about twelve, and in the Nickelodeon show I ended up getting slimed. They only pick kids for that sort of thing, but if there are kids going along, you may want to know beforehand that you get about two minutes to shower and get dressed afterwards. (Which isn't enough time to get all of that gunk out of your hair. You should plan on going back to your hotel or wherever to shower if someone actually gets a chance at being slimed.) I have a few tips on getting that chance. Email me if you want them.

Wow..lucky wish I was going there this summer.
The best coasters to ride are:
The Incredible Hulk....the first like 30 seconds are the best!! I went down there and I knew about the instant take off near the top of the tunnel and mean little me did not tell them that this happened and it freaked them out.
Dueling Dragons is great....Both coasters are awesome and are definately different They are fire and ice. I personally prefer fire because it goes a little faster and has a higher drop than ice. But I definately suggest going on both and then go again on your favorite.
Spiderman is really neat being in the moving vehicle while everything is 4D around you...it's good to go on in the middle of the day because it's nice and cool in there
Another fun ride that's not a coaster but a water ride is the Dudley Do Right falls ride....it's fun and you get a little wet
The other water ride is great too where you sit in the big round boat that one you get soaked on but it's a blast
At Universal Studios I would go on the Mummy....I was down there before it opened and they let some park guest "test ride it" and I did and it was really awesome......It's not so much that its a fast and big ride but it's similar to space mountain at Disney because you can't see what's gonna happen next
The Shrek 4D show is not so much a ride but it's something to do during the middle of the day when it's hot outside.
Okay some pics & videos...

Also one tip make sure to take advantage of the Universal Express thing where you can hold your place in line....it's simiar to fast pass at Disney parks

i cant send u any pics but i can say that dueling dragons is like montu in busch gardens in tampa but there are two roller coasters in one...very cool! also the hulk is good. i recommend stay at the hard rock hotel b/c you can walk to the park (it takes less than 5 minutes) and you can use your room key as a fast pass for the rides! have fun!
