I'm 19yrs&in love with a 29yr man.I met him when I was 13, he was more of a friend than a lover, but things changed..3yrs ago, he was forced to marry his cousin in order to save his sister's marriage.He refused to break up our relationship& he was already living far from his wife, visiting her yearly, making her pregnant twice already. Guilt built up along the yrs&I finally tried to break up, few days later, his wife calls and begs me to take him back..I'm still in medical school and have 4 more yrs to study..I really love him and I know he's feels the same way too..but do I really have hope in marrying a man who's 10 yrs elder than me, from a different ethnic race & country, married and a lower educational standard, though none of this bothers me at all..In 7 years I tried to leave him more than once, but never really had the heart to live without him, nor would he let me go just like that..Am I just being delusional and unreal? And will my parents ever agree?

wake up! you need to think about yourself, he isn't. Dump him, change your phone number, don't communicate with him or his wife. Stay in medical school and go after the education you want.
Med school is tough enough as it is without this mess. You need to get your head on straight...You must have a good head on your shoulders, so use it and kick all this trash to the curb.

You would think that a woman in Medical School would have more sense that to get caught up in something so Wrong. Are you Nuts... this man is alot older and MARRIED. How Jerry Springer can you get, marrying your cousin. Lord Gal get a Life and forget about this man and the drama that surrounds him. Surely you can do alot better...

Oh my God, such drama for a 19yr old. Get the hell out of this. He was forced to marry to save someone else's marriage? Get real honey. If this was my daughter, I'll tell her to get out and run for her life. This is ridiculous. Love shouldn't be so hard. Do yourself and your heart a favor. Lose this man. Move and don't tell him where you're going.

This is a messed up situation and I think you should get away from it. You are young and have your whole life ahead of you. You say you are in medical school, so you do have a bright future ahead of you. Don't ruin your life being with a man who is older, married and has kids. You have been with this man for 7 years of your life, to include your child hood. It is time to live for yourself and be free of this mess.

I don't mean to be rude or judemental but did you say he married his cousin?! Yeah, don't marry him. I'm not saying so just because of that strange fact either.
Age is a big factor and clearly there are other problems here. Find someone else more suitable for you.
I don't know your parents but I doubt that they would agree.

You're delusional all right, but only in trying to make this question work. It's a joke. If you're 19, you're barely in college, much less medical school. Judging not only this situation, but your grammar and sentence structure as well, there's not a snowball's chance in hell that you'll be going to med school.
