When I was a boy, the eyes fell out
of my teddy bear.
Mrs Davis who lived next door, sewed
some red buttons on, to replace the eyes.
I stopped crying and went peacefully
to sleep.
I could never understand what all that
Queen stuff was about,
but God bless the English.

My Dad was a Teddy Boy, in the Sixties, I have got old black and white Photos of him and he looked very smart. He said it was better than being a "rods and Mockers" Pun on the Initials, as he'd say.
