I answered a question this morning regarding this.
My point is, if you're not afraid, how can you ever be brave?

I am afraid that when I empty my bowels on the terlit an alligator or snake will come up from the sewers and bite me on the bum and kill me. Even so I empty my bowels on the terlit EVERY DAY!
I consider myself to be a brave man, possibly even a hero.

For someone to be brave he or she has to be afraid first, I would say there is truth to this but bravery doesn't exclusively come from fear, it can be derived from pride, from being hurt or from bravery on its own.
There are people that are brave without being afraid of something first, as there are people who after being hurt, like heartbroken or from pain, demonstrate their bravery by withstanding those moments and growing from the experience, and there are also those who are too proud to show their weaknesses hence seeming brave.
Does it make sense? hm mm

No. Bravery is being willing to do what is necessary in spite of your fears. Some people who are brave don't happen to fear anything. There is no absolute.

bravery is going past the point of no return. doing something you would not have done under any ordinary circumstances and doing it well is my definition.

It's a fear you overcome....or...could be another person idea of fear....which portrays an act of bravery to them....

If that's the case, then we would all be heroes, and whoever says they're not afraid is in deep denial.
