In no particular order:

Medical advances, as in all wars

Helicopter medical evacuation saved many men became the standard for evacuation.

The US military finally integrates but with difficulty

A dynamic free country of industrious peoples who basically had never know freedom in a century

the concept that "freedom has a price" - victory maybe just not losing

The communists knew that they would have to fight to make any advances

The North Vietnamese learned that America could be seen as "giving up" and thus the Vietnamese learned that they could
perhaps win against first the French, they got another stalemate, and then victory. So "good" for the North Vietnamese.

Why we call the "Korean Conflict" the Korean war the "forgotten war' is very much seen in your question. One bad memory.

About the only good I personally know of is all the Korean and American marriages: we have many where I live (Army base).

About the only good thing I can think of is that we ensured that at least part of Korea was not conquered by the Chinese backed North Koreans. Otherwise, there aren't too many good things to come out of that war - we have a people still divided today, a country that is isolated in so many ways. Here at home, a lot of people fought and died for the Koreans. I myself have a great uncle who fought in Korea and disappeared - we have no idea what happened to him, or where he is buried now.

It was the first time the UN ever entered a conflict so that could be significant. (It was only approved because the Russians boycotted the vote.) So it set an example of global cooperation to protect democratic governments.

It was a non-nuclear war, despite the urgings of some of the United State's top generals, which helped set a precedent of using nuclear weapons only as a last resort, and therefore prevented further global escalation.

i'm valuable what precisely you recommend by skill of 'good', yet i got here upon some clever technological advances made in the time of WWII on Wikipedia. i presumed a number of the greater thrilling ones have been the the form of the tank, the semi-computerized rifle (M1-Garand), and the radar. on the social point, women people grew to become component to the mainstream artwork stress for the 1st time, because of the fact the adult men who had held the roles in the previous have been enlisted and scuffling with foreign places. you have in all hazard heard of Rosie the Riviter; it rather is the place the term got here from.

before korean war all the good soldiers was sent to europe like germany, because the threat was in europe since soviets was there. so when the war started US troops who was the trash on earth with worst equipments was pushed to pupsan city, so US sent full scale invasion to inchon river, and cut them off.

the good thing came out was that well equipped and good soldiers was stationed in korea and in japan after the war. also jet fighters got chance to proove its power and had great test by fighting.
