If you HATED (and I mean HATED) your job and finally got to put in 2 weeks notice, what would you say and do?

This is going to sound corny but regardless of the hating the job it still fed me and paid my bills so I would be polite and just tell my employer that I had found other employment and was giving notice.

I would give my two week notice to follow the guidelines in terminating my service; the day that I turned in my notice would be my last day. Once you turn that 2 week notice in, you can end your service abruptly like the next day.

on the day i was laid off from my last ever factory job i snuck into the main office to the P.A. system. ya know how when someone is paged over one, they always call out "Bill Smith, pick up line one. Bill Smith, line one!" ? well, i had a foreman hated throughout the plant. over the P.A. i announced." Bill Smith, eat **** and die, Bill Smith, eat **** and die!" over the hum of the machinery and from the office i was able to hear the entire plant roaring with laughter.

Most jobs aren't too much fun. And the people that do well in office jobs tend not to be too much fun to be around. Just part of life.

nothing, i wouldn't even give them a notice, NO CALL NO SHOW for three days and then finally show up to pick up your final check....
