People are gay because they happen to love another person of the same sex. It's not a choice, it's something you're born with just the same as the colour of your eyes.
As for the fool that said being gay isn't natural because they'd "never seen a gay baby", well of course they haven't. Have they never heard of a thing called puberty? That's when a child starts to become sexually aware and sexual attraction starts to develop; so even though a baby may be gay from birth they wouldn't even be aware of it themselves until they reached puberty.
The scientific answer to why people are gay has to do with genetics and hormones and that's true throughout the animal kingdom not just in humans.
But, does it really matter WHY? If somebody is gay, so what? If they are able to live their live in a loving, censentual and happy relationship with another person of the same sex then so be it.

People are gay beacause they are attracted to those of the same gender. As far as gay tendencies in the young, I jumped rope as a small child...while another gay friend of mine was noted for a typically straight activity of boxing. It is about who you love, honey. Whatever your choice, try to love someone. Especially yourself.

FOR US A GAY COUPLE HERE WE GREW UP TOGETHER AS BOYHOOD FRIENDS AND, ONE OF US CAME FROM A ABUSIVE KNOCK DOWNE DRAG OUT FAMILY LIFE. MY CURRENT BOYHOOD FRIEND AND I WERE BOYHOOD FRIENDS AND HAVE BEEN CLOSE TO EACH OTHER SINCE SMALL CHILDRENN. WE ARE NOW STILL TOGETHER THREW THICK THIN HAVE BEEN TO HELL AND BACK. WE ARE NOW 22 BOTH OF ARE NOW AND HAVE NEVER BEEN CLOSER THREW OUR ADULTHOOD NOW. WE CAME OUT AT 16 AND 17 AND GOT THOWN OUT WITH CLOTHES ON OUR BACKS AT THAT EARLY STAGE IN THE GAME. WE HAVE VOWED TO REMAIN TOGETHER, INTO OLD AGE. WE HAVE SHARED MANY BAD GOOD TIMES TOGETHER. AND OUR NOW STILL MAKING A LIFE TOGETHER. ITS A LONG STORY BUT WE ARE GAY AND A COUPLE AND PROUD OF IT.

I'm not gay, but some people are because they aren't atracted to the opposite sex, they perfer their own, nothing is wrong with that.

they just are. they dont make a choice. they dont choose to be gay or bi or anything like that. they just become that way over a period of time such as puberty.

Female babies don’t have boobs, so you could argue that it’s the woman’s choice to develop breasts. It’s the same with sexuality, it’s already there from birth and shows itself at puberty.
