I am buying a friesian filly this time next year from Mealrigg Stud in Cumbria (www.mealrigg-stud.co.uk) Their stallion is stunning and their youngsters are really well socialised.
Another option is to try www.friesians4all.com. They are a holland based company who find a friesain horse suitable for you and deal with all the import and shipping details. The stud above got one of their mares through this company, and the horse prices are lower than you pay here and the cost of imprting was only around £500.
They have details of all their current horses on the website, including video of some of them.
Good luck finding the right horse for you - everything I have learnt about them makes me want a friesain more and more - they are beautiful and have such good temperments.

That's no problem at all. Just save up about $8000 and you can have yourself a young Friesian. Prices have fallen in the last 10 years but i'd expect to pay anywhere from $7000 to $20000 on this type of horse.

try typing in friesian horses for sale and you should get a bunch of hits. however you could try Kadan Farms (www.kadanfarms.com) (this is where i'm breeding to this year - YAY), the friesian horses association of north america (www.fhana.com) or the american friesian association (www.americanfriesianassociation.com) and they will have some breeding farm directories or links to friesians for sale. i hope this helps

Hi hun. I have two. If you would like to email me i will tell you where I got them from and the pitfalls as there are things you do have to look out for. I imported one and i bought the other from my cousin who imports them.
My avatar shows one of my friesians and if you go onto my blog you can see the other.
You choose well as the breed is kind and extremely trainable I will never have another breed of horse and i have had hundreds through my ands over the years.

Friesians are beautiful horses, but make sure you have been around a few before buying one, as they can be incredibly strong willed. Mixed that with their huge size and the results can be very painful, and hard to stop.
Saying all of that, they still are one of my favorite horses, when you get nice ones.
