I would suggest going into www.dreamhost.com. that is the one I use for my own. Their customer service is exellent and they have really good prices. Plus some awesome offers. Each of their offers come with a lot of features and 1 free domain registration. Also if you enter the promo code 784CRAZYGOOD you get 10% more of space! so. You could check that out too :P

If you just want to register a domain.. they do that also for just $9.95. Which is pretty cheap. And you can add a hosting pacakge to it later on. I would suggest having the hosting package already with the domain that way you don't have to worry about it.

Their best thing is that they will keep increasing your disk space and bandwith. So every week you get more space and stuff. Which is really good.

If you are looking for a new domain name to register then first of all think about some domain names and then try to register from some domain registrars like:

http://www.enom.com

If you are looking to buy an existing domain name then try to find them at market places like:

http://www.nameslot.com

Depends if you need just the domaion or webhosting too. I am from UK and .co.uk are £1.99 a year minimum 2 years for domain name only. I dont need webhosting as I have free hosting from NTL/VIRGINMEDIA.

or .com http://www.1and1.com depending where you live

I did a lot of searching but ended up at www.EZDomainWorld.com at the end.

I liked the prices but their customer service the most and have been recommending them to all my friends and colleagues.
