striking image from your past?
Mine is when my dad cut his hand pretty badly in a piece of broken glass... I was 3 and that was the first time I actually understood what blood is...

Mine was when my dad showed me the nasty scar he has on his leg from a time when he'd been chopping wood and accidentally swung the axe right into his own leg. I don't remember how old he was at the time that happened or many of the other details, but that scar sticks out in my mind because it reminds me that sometimes accidents just happen, and that...my dad isn't perfect I suppose. When I think of that scar it reminds me that my dad feels pain too....

when i found my sons father dead in our backyard valentines day 1995 my son was 3 i was 24 and that was the first time i knew what death looked like face to face! i still cant shake the image

getting hit by a car when i was 9.done a couple of somersaults but didnt break anything.it was the look on the drivers face that i remember.total shock

Mine was some ago when my mother came into my room and slept with me. I sponed her and everything. lol My mother never really sleeps with me or anything so when I woke up I told her that it was cute that she went to sleep with me at night and she told me that she was at church praying. I almost fainted. I was sooooo awake and I wasn't dreaming. Many things have happened to me but that just did it for me.

i dont have an image but one of my memories that stand out most are
when my mom left for work when i was little and i remember lookng out the window
or
when my preschool teacher was explaining suburbia...
