i was just wondering if you consider a 15 year old to be quite a young age? and not that i am but if a 15 year old was having sex would it seem way too young?

That's really young. Not ready to handle all that emotional craziness that comes along with it. Not young enough to handle it if you get or become pregnant. Wait, what is the rush today anyhow?? Just look around you at all the crap that is happening because people are having sex so young. Baby mama drama, kids growing up without a father, etc. There's a little more to sex than the act itself.

Depends if you're a male or a female. I think males are ready at 15. The anatomy of the male body is developed enough for sexual reproduction at that age already. The female body takes longer to develop at least 17 for females.
