just last week i got my ipod video and its great the but thing scratches so easily and i'm wondering how i can prevent that preferably without a case on

While not in use you can keep it in the pouch that should have come with the iPod. But even taking it in and out of the pouch can scratch it up, leaving small streaks on it. You would have to be extra, extra careful with it to avoid scratching it up. Even sliding it across a table just a little bit would put a little scuff on it. For these reasons, I would STRONGLY recommend getting a case for it. I have the iClear case by Griffin on my 60 GB white iPod video. It's transparent, and doesn't interfere with using it one bit. The case itself doesn't scratch that easily at all, and will not in any way interfere with watching video on it. I also think the transparency of the case enhances the look of the iPod itself.

i have an ipod video heres some tips

always carry your ipod with one tight hand and never leave your ipod on the edge of a table, also put your ipod in your pocket of a sweatshirt

if you dont want a dorky case...just get a skin....its sheer & you hardly notice its there
