It may be eating too much. Make sure you're not overfeeding it. Also, it could be pregnant, if it's a girl. Also, I had a friend whos fish bloated, and she thought it was pregnant, then one day, it just popped. Watch it carefully, and try not to stress it out, and make sure it's cage is clean.

Need a little more info. How long has it been this way? Do the scales stick out? Is it eating normally?

Check to see if it's pregnant or sick. If it's pregnant then let it have it's babies, and, if you don't want them you could probably try to sell them to someone else.
