considering your age...think about rings at a more appropriate time. you could make a gesture of committal with a promise ring in any form. its the words and actions that wil make the 'ring' priceless. peace

16 is too young to get married. 6 months is not long enough. try 5 or ten years together and if it's still working between the two of you, then you have my blessing. but at 16, you don't really have good enough judgement to decide who you want to spend the rest of your life with. sorry.

You're too young to get married, no matter how much you love each other. I'm not saying you wouldn't be happy or stay together. You should give your relationship time to grow. You've only been dating for 6 months. If the love is truely there, then time will not matter.

Lots of couples get married, then buy the rings later on when they've established more income. Or, they buy inexpensive rings and upgrade when they can. Check Wal-Mart. I don't think their jewelry is good quality but it's very affordable.

try walmart, they have some pretty but inexpensive rings. They aren't real of course but its the thought that counts.
If you really want a nicer ring you can try Ebay, but there is no guarantee of quality.
Good luck.

If you can't afford a ring, how can you afford to be a husband?
