They can't identify them...and that's why there will never be a "win". You cannot fight an enemy that you can't identify. You cannot fight an enemy that hides out in schools, hospitals and private homes; who uses civilians as shields, who dress like everybody else. That is also why a lot of innocent civilians are killed....

My son is in Iraq. He has done border patrol and had an idiotic Iraq racing throught he check points and he was never given the order to shoot. It is unbelievable how far they have to go before our forces are allowed to shoot.

My brother is a Marine. They are highly trained, and as far as they're concerned they have to approach everyone as a threat, and take it from there. Our troops are truly amazing, and it would blow your mind to see just what a great job they're doing.

THEY CAN'T REALLY TELL. THAT IS WHY SOMETIMES INNOCENT PEOPLE GET HURT. IT ISN'T' EASY TO TELL IF SOMEONE IS READY TO KILL YOU OR JUST SCARED OF WHAT MAY HAPPEN NEXT.
AT A ROAD BLOCK...THE SOLDIERS EXPECT ALL CARS TO STOP. SOME OF THE CARS' OCCUPANTS AREN'T SURE IT IS A LEGAL ROADBLOCK. SO YOU HAVE TWO
UNCERTAIN GROUPS IN CONFLICT. IF THEY DON'T STOP...THEY MAY DIE. IF THEY STOP FOR A TERRORIST RUN ROAD BLOCK THEY STILL WILL DIE.
