Okay, officially not a driver; I'm going to take the written test soon, anybody have any tips?!

(In NY if that helps)

Oh I forgot to say that I already read the pamphlet from the DMV office. I'm just nervous about the test. Are there online tests that I can take to practice?

read the pamplet and take the online quiz on the dmv website. more than half of my questions were on the online quiz and the rest of them could be found in the pamphlet. I got 1 question wrong (out of 20) . The question was which has more alchohol, one shot, one beer, one glass of wine or one small mixed drink? the correct answer was they all have the same.
good luck and dont be nervous. alot of the questions are really easy. Like " What do you do at a red light?"

I presume you've studied the guide you would have received in driver's ed? If not, it's probably available at the NY DMV web site. Download it and read it through, have someone quiz you on it.

Good luck and be safe!

watch out for the "Goody two shoes" that stops to let "EVERYONE" trying to pull out of a side street, into traffic, often they stop, wave someone on, and let them in, or through, you come up the middle lane on their right side and "WHAM", as they pull away looking at you stupid because, they just caused an accident. They of course are not involved in it.

Watch out for old people driving, they know they "suck" at driving, so they go out and buy "HUGE" cars to protect themselves because, they "KNOW" that they are going to get involved in an accident soon, so in order not to get hurt (AND BTW to "HURT YOU"), they compensate for their Shot "Eyesight"' slow reactions, and non-existant "Hearing", by buying a huge car, so that "THEY" don't come out "2nd best" in an accident.
