I am 14 and Keep looking everywhere. I dont qualify as a "child" or a "adult", so there is not much middle ground. I dont want to have to pay money each month to a website to find me listings. And i cant afford an agent, so my chances are really limited. If you have anything in the Houston area please tell me what it is..i can sing and dance if needed.

Ask your mom or dad to call the following Talent Agency:
Pastorini-Bosby Talent Agency
www.pastorini-bosbytalent.com
3013 Fountain View Dr # 240
Houston, TX 77057
(713) 266-4488

Tell your parents to have a list of questions ready to ask Ms. Pastorinini and Ms. Bosby when they call the office. Such as, do they work on commission only (in some cities agents are commission only. I don't remember).

Pastorini-Bosby were my agents when I lived in Houston.
Texas is a Right-to-Work State. You can join SAG and AFTRA unions less-expensive than in other cities.

First of all, don't even consider those scam websites. None of them are real, honestly. I don't live in the Houston area, but just look around for theater groups and local productions to start out. Don't think that being successful means being famous-- it doesn't. As long as you're doing what you love, performing, it shouldn't matter how famous you are. Good luck =]

You have to have SERIOUS talent. Competition out there is fierce. You have to stand out from everyone else. You cant be just another pretty face with mediocre talent. What can you offer that other people cant?
