i will have a bachelors in CIS systems analysis but no time to do an internship.

im looking for the 40k/yr entry level job.

now PLEASE i cannot stress this enough. if you dont know exactly what youre talking about then please don answer with the kinds of answers that i KNOW are coming.

examples:

-its going to be a lot harder to get a job without an internship
-talk to your school or some employers and see if they can help
-youre NEVER going to get a job that pays that much.

...those kind of idiot answers that anyone can give. ...i dont need em please. they frustrate me more than you can possibly imagine.

I'm not a programmer but have worked the business side of IT and software development. You can undoubtedly get a job without an internship. But don't trash the idea of an internship if the opportunity presents itself.

Typically the reasons for seeking an internship include (1) it gives you an opportunity to see if you like the field. (2) You get to evaluate a prospective employer. (3) The prospective employer gets to evaluate you. (4) You get to put some of your training to use. (5) It gives you an “in” with a prospective employer. (6) It looks good on a resume. (7) And you do get paid for it.

Hope this helps.

Change your attitude. Calling common sense advice "idiot" won't get you a job.

And apply for the jobs, that's the only way to get them. OK, I've had a few offers from having my CV on Monster. There's also Dice, and a few other places to look. Just let people know you exist, they can't hire you if they've never heard of you.

You can find better experts on the IT industry at Linked In (if you don't mind losing your anonymity). And there are job listings there too and....And less silly answers too.

What other kind of answer do you want?
