It depends on what they are offering. Becasue goDaddy could offer you to host more than 1 domain and those can be indepedent sites.

If you are looking for something like that where you are going to host different sites of your own then I would suggest Dreamhost. They let you have unlimited domains(unlimited sites) depending on your disk size. They give a lot of disk size. Right now is like at 174 GB for the cheapest one which is 9.95.. Enter 784CRAZYGOOD as a promocode when you sign up and they'll give you 10% more of space. plus your space is going to grow weekly. So they are really good. And their customer service is excellent. I have been with them for over a year now and I don't have one single bad thing to say about them. Everytime I have a problem they answer me accordingly easy and understandable.

However if you are looking for hosting sites and like have your own hosting company then I would suggest getting a reseller.

Lypha.org is pretty good and pretty cheap too. You get around 10GB or more. Depending on the special. The prices start at 29.95 per month and up.

check the resources for more info on both the sites.

Some of the hosting company provide this kind of service, say add on domain, if they have this kind of service, you can put more than 1 domain on your hosting.
You can set it up from your cPanel.
I knew 111hosting they don't like somebody to use this function, so maybe you can't find it from their website. but I am lucky to find it before they deleted the link.:P
you can find video tutorials from:http://www.111hosting.com/cpanel-tutorials/cpanel10_x2_addon.html

YES! The rest are wrong. You can get whats called a resellers account. This allows you to have multiple domains under one account. I suggest Tektonic.net

Ask them about setting up an Alias - probably cost $10/Yr. and gives you another domain name to a gateway page.
