girls u know what its like when u see something nice and u want it!! well, this may seem like a wierd question but i really like this belt which comes with a pair of jeans but i dont like the jeans, only the belt. ive looked everywhere for a belt similar to buy on its own but no luck.
i was really tempted to take the belt off and keep it or put it on another pair of jeans that i would consider buying. but is that classed as steeling??

Yes its classes as stealing don't do it. Surely on Ebay they would have the belt. Or why don't you buy the jeans and the belt, but they give the jeans to a friend of family member as a birthday present or gift

Of course it's stealing. The shop would probably have to sell the beltless jeans at a discount, so would be financially the loser. If the belt is that marvellous, you'll just have to settle for buying the jeans which go with it, even if you don't like them.

Yes it would count as stealing. Either buy the jeans to get the belt, or go without.

For more information, read the Theft Act of 1968.

Not really, I doubt there is not a girl that hasn't done that yet. but does it have a label telling u that u can't so that? The belts are just used to pursuade girls to buy the jeans in the first place!

Yes, of course it is. The shop assistants will also notice that the belt doesnt go with that line of jeans.

Hi,

You are right, it would be classed as theft if you were to swap the belt onto another pair of jeans, that would be classed as one of two things, dependant upon the officer in the case. They would either class it as theft or by obtaining property by deception.
I used to be a police officer!!
