I would absolutely report him if you find that he is still in practice. Any male doctor that examines a female patient must have another person in the room w/ him. That is just standard practice. Especially sense he is a gyn.....and those examinations are uncomfortable enough as it is. He is making the situation worse by causing you unneeded anxiety due to his "perversion".
But don't be embarrassed in anyway.......just think of all the other women you will be saving from his happy fingers. We as woman need to stand together and let men like that know that we will not stand for that kind of abuse. Just b/c he is a gyn doesn't give him the right to "linger" down there. A typical examination should only take just a few moments.Get in do what you need to do and get out!!!

The arousal alone doesn't prove anything but the fact that a nurse wasn't present says to me that he was doing something wrong. I think you might want to report him. I personally have a wonderful male gynecologist. Someone else mentioned a female nurse practitioner and I had a similar, if less extreme experience. She seemed to take too much time looking at what she needed to look at and her fingers seemed to roam to places that were irrelevant to the exam. I didn't report it because it was too vague but your gyno doing his exams with no supervision should mean something.

I have wrote this before but I have had an experience with a female nurse practitioner at a health department. She was down there for about 10 minutes and she even took her gloves off. She also gave me a breast exam that took about 10 minutes and tried to tell me because my breasts weren't the same size that she wouldn't give me my prescription until I came back to see her again for another exam in a week. I felt like I was molested and taken advantage of. I was too scared to go back to a doctor for 3 years because of it. REPORT THEM. That's what I did. Don't let someone else go through it too.

What a sick freak. Definitely report him. Have you considered getting a female gyno? I would never have a male again since having a female. I have heard FAR too many inappropriate stories and I typically question any man who wants to study that area. In my opinion, it's just too intimate to have a man feeling me up.

I would definitely report his behavior. That is not right. He should have a nurse in there with him during all of the exam. If he is doing this to you then he has probably done this to other women as well. It's time for him to lose his license.

As a healthcare practitioner I recommend contacting the state board. If he did this to you, he's done it to others. Adding your name to an already started list of complaints may help. I recommend going to a female for your gyn care. I personally see alot of women because as a female I can make them more comfortable. I'm so sorry for your experience, pap tests and breast exams can save a woman's life. I hate stories like this not only because of the incident one person had to endure, but when others hear things like this it can deter them from routine exams or seeking help. Women needlessly suffer and die. Every 13 minutes a woman dies from breast cancer alone. A female doctor, or nurse practitioner, or midwife, or physician assistant can do regular gyn care and have patients comfortable and well cared for.

Report him I had the same kinda thing happen before and I went all the way I even went to the police you cant do it anonymously but at least he will know your not having it and even though it is hard to get them punished (nothing ever came of mine) they have been interviewed by police and know someone is watching them it might just be enough to stop him from doing it again it will at least scare the crap out of him. Stand up for yourself no one else will. Being quiet only insures he will do it to someone else

Girl, you would be doing a huge diservice to your comunity of women if you didn't report him. He is obviously some sort of perve and for too long ppl like him get away with it because of the stigma of "telling on" a professional. Tell someone, and hopefully he gets what he deserves.
