The most funny anecdotes are about apparent correlations. In Germany for example, it is possilbe to positively correlate the rate of birth by region with the amount of storks in that region. Of course, this would imply the storks bring the babies.
In fact the link between this two facts is, that the regions with a higher birth rate are rural regions where a lot of frogs dwell. The storks eat the frogs, so they are in higher number there. It has of course nothing to do with Stork bringin the babies.
