how can i install my web-cam with out the computer restarts every time i click view my web-cam?

only one time i did conected my webcam with out restar the computer but all the other times i click invited to see my webcam it shuts down and stars all over again im tire of that?
any body nows were can i set up webcam for my at&t yahoo messenger? tky

Open webcam so you see youself.On the screen click file.Click preferences,click camera source and make sure your camera name is in that block.When showing webcam use small screen alway's,and don't let more than two viewer's.Check your firewall setting's. Click on start,control panel,security center,windows firewall.There click on exception tab.Find webcam and messenger and check them.If not on that list click on add program.There find webcam and messenger and check them,ok.This let's a path for them thru firewall so you don't have to shut firewall off.If this don't help you click on help in messenger and see webcam help,alot of other thing's that may help.Good luck.
