Relax about the whole thing or she will pick up on your anxieties.
Is she drinking enough thats the main thing.
It's very likley she has picked up some sort of virus and has lost her appetite, in addition to the teeth comming through.
Offer small easy to eat meals, soups ,finger foods and yogurts.
If your still worried contact your Health Visitor or Dr

A little teething gel rubbed onto the sore gum with a clean finger has a numbing effect that lasts for about 20 minutes. However, you should not use teething gels more than six times a day and, if you are breast-feeding, you should avoid using them immediately before a feed as they can numb your baby's tongue making it hard for her to suck successfully.
Some parents find that simply rubbing a finger over sore gums can numb the pain temporarily. Giving your baby something to bite on will have a similar effect, relieving the pressure and thereby easing the pain. The chances are that your baby will find things to chew on herself but she might find hard, unsweetened rusks, teething rings or a peeled raw carrot helpful, (though don't use carrots once she has her first tooth, as she may bite off lumps that she can then choke on). Anything cold will be particularly soothing so keep rubber teethers in the fridge or give your baby a partly-frozen wet flannel to gnaw on. Chilled water in a bottle or, if she prefers, a feeding cup may help to calm her gums and if she is old enough for solid foods, offer her cold apple puree or plain yoghurt. There will be times, however, when your baby will reject all of these offerings and, at these moments, a cuddle is the best therapy you can supply.

my baby goes through phases of not wanting to eat usually when he is getting teeth through. Just think how sore their little gums must be, the last thing they wanna do is chew.
If its not her teeth she may be ill with a little virus or sumthin. You know yourself that your appetite is the first to go when you're off colour.
make sure she is drinking plenty of fluids. as long as she is drinking then there is no need to panic but i would say if it continues then take her to your doc so she can get checked out. look out for other signs of illnress such as sleeping more than usual, clinginess and crying, temperature, vomtting or diorrhea, strange rashes etc. Chances are though, she's just teething. make her stuff you know she likes and see how you get on...also give her a distraction when you're feeding her. My baby loves the music on my mobile phone and if i give him that he will eat anything ha ha

After working with children of this age for over 6 years in nurseries i have found that a child will only eat when they are ready, you really shouldnt worry she will eat when she gets hungry.
try making portion sizes smaller and making them look more fun eg, making pizzas and using the toppings to make a face or anything that would make the food fun for her as adults tend to offer a child the same portion sizes or more when children are off their food. if you are still concerned go to the doctors.
good luck :)

Try giving her a popcicle or icecream before offering food. That coldness feels great on their gums and is also numbing. I wouldn't worry about her eating too much icecream either, at least she's getting something down! You don't want her to get dehydrated. I've been throught this with both of my children and they just loved Otterpops, Gogurt, etc. when they were teething.

Her teeth are probably hurting her to much! Try giving her some liquids as long as she is drinking she can go awhile with out eating!! I also recommend teething tablets they help alot and when you give her thous give her some Tylenol for longer relief. The eating thing wont last long! just keep her drinking!!!

My mum always told me that kids wont starve themselves and will eat when they are hungry ..... my eldest ( now 16 ) refused to eat ANYTHING and cos of her age ( she was 2 at the time) and the size of her stomach she got to the point where she couldnt eat ....... scare story aside !!! do a food diary over 48 hours .... you might be shocked at the " snacks" you dont realise that she is eating ..... speak to your health visitor and show her the diary and go on her advise !!

Is she still drinking? Some baby's do stop eating because their teeth hurt but she still needs to be drinking. Try getting pediasure. You can buy it at Wal-Mart or most stores with the infant formula. It's a meal supplement you could give it to her in her cup/bottle. We had to give it to our son because he wouldn’t eat well. Good luck.

Ask your doctor what things you can add to the water or milk to keep her in good conditions...if the problem is her teeth, give her freezing fruits juices for example "mango" which has a very good amount of nutrients...
