I wouldn't freeze the teether rings solid-- it's easier for them if they are mushy. Also, the make this rings w/ nets, you can put fruit and veggies in the net and close the net part off. If you freeze the fruit and veggies-- they also helps.. you can buy those things at Target or Walmart. Give her a little baby tylenol or orejel (they have some for over night too that last longer-- apply during the day if need be.) Good luck.

Okay. Go to the pharmacy and get Tylenol or Motrin - Motrin is good because it lasts longer - helpful at night! Make sure you're giving the proper dose based on weight - underdosing is pointless because it won't do much. Give it 30 minutes before feedings to ease mouth pain to help baby eat.
Keep a wet washcloth in a baggie in the fridge to keep it cold. Give it to baby to gnaw on periodically - cold soothes sore gums. Those frozen teething rings are good too. (Heck, a frozen bagel would work in a pinch!)
I would not do things like baby Orajel or Ambesol or anything like that because they can burn tender gums with nasty chemical burns. And don't even listen to any idiot who suggests any form of alcohol for teething - babies can die from alcohol poisoning from even a small amount.
Good luck. Be patient - I know it's hard when you have a miserable one, but it does pass!

Try giving popcicles or icecream. That coldness feels great on their gums and is also numbing and soothing. I wouldn't worry about eating too much icecream at this time either, any thing to make them happy! I've been through this with both of my children and they just loved Otterpops, Gogurt, etc. when they were teething.
Or, just rub an ice cube on their gums. And some people say that you can let them suck on a cold wet washcloth.

I used an infant toothbrush, it slipped over my finger and had bristles on one side and nubbies on the other. Rubbed gums firmly but gently, he screamed at first but quickly enjoyed it. Also the old standby tylenol or teething tablets, which for some reason are not in childprood bottles. (I keep them out of his reach, but you would think...) Bought a vibrating teether, when he was younger it was too difficult for him to use but now he loves it. Lately been using frozen cut up bananas, he loves those and they are better than ice cream in my opinion. Oh yeah don't forget some ibuproferin or aspirin for you. :)~

I don't what part of the world you live in,but in the UK they have a powder called Ashtons and Parsons.I used it on one of my kids and wished I had found out about when my other two had been going through the teething stage.
Good Luck.

get the teething things that you freeze -the cold really helps their gums.
anbesol (the baby kind) does help but you're not supposed to use that often.
