when I upload my cds to my itunes and then to my ipod, each album has a different volume level, so when I shuffle the songs I have to turn up or down the volume on each song.
is there a way I can have all my songs at the same volume level??

Yes , when in iTunes, under the Edit menu, choose select all. Then, right click on the highlighted area.Go to Get Info, the first choice on the toolbar. Next, Make the volume adjustment (you can move it closer to +100 to have a higher maximum volume, or -100 for a lower maximum volume.) Click ok, and let your songs update.
