You might have anxiety.I had it really bad at one time.I was so tired but yet couldn't close my eyes.Try a sleep aid like Tylenol pm if it doesn't help try to cut down on caffeine and sugar and do a little exercise before bed Good luck.

Sounds to me like you need a visit to your doctor. Being sleepy the day after a sleepless night is normal because your body did not receive the proper rest it needs. But after a day of work and not sleeping.......your body should be more than ready to lay down and get some much needed sleep.

I would definitely call your pmd and let them know whats going on. If you cant get a hold of him/her.......maybe a light over the counter sleeping pill will do the trick until you can see a professional for some help.

Good luck :)

maybe your sleep schedule is messed up. Try taking a sleeping pill when you want to go to sleep, get in bed and lie there. Do this for about a week, and if it doesn't help, go see a doctor!!!

Could be some type of anxiety. Has something been troubling you lately?

I had this problem for a couple of years, then I started drinking a glass of wine before goinf to bed. It didn't get me drunk, but just helped me relax.
