I have sensitive skin prone to razor burn. I used venus razors on my legs for a while but then every time I shaved my legs I could just feel the razor grinding against my skin - no matter if it was a new razor and even if i used plently of shaving lotion/gel. What do people like and/or suggest? I am tired of having irritated legs!

THE RAZOR ISN'T AS IMPORTANT AS WHAT YOU ARE PUTTING ON YOUR LEGS BEFORE YOU SHAVE.
FOR SENSITIVE SKIN, TRY ANY BRAND OF HAIR CONDITIONER. IT SOFTENS YOUR SKIN AND MAKES IT
EASIER TO GLIDE THE RAZOR OVER. YOU WILL HAVE LESS RAZOR BURN.

From personal experience it's best you shave in the morning and after you've soaked your legs which makes it softer and easier to shave. It's best to do it in a bathtub or shower. Place the razor at the base of your ankle and pull gently up over your entire leg. If you experience severe razor burn, try shaving in the same direction as the hair growth. You may not get as clean a shave, but you'll avoid raising red bumps.

If you've done all this and you're still having some issues. My best suggestion is you get rid of all disposable shavers and invest in getting your legs waxed or a wet/dry rechargeable shaver.

I have the EXACT same problem, and I switched over to Veet. Its this cream stuff that takes the hair off, and it comes with a little plastic "razor" that gets the cream off (it's really just a piece of plastic). It takes it hair off, with no bumps or irritation. I just smear it on, wash my face or whatever, and its ready. Good luck!

The Shick Intuition. It's got soap built into the razor and it's fantastic.
